Hostess / Guest Service Associate (GSA)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservation requests.
• Present menus and provide guests with basic information about the restaurant and menu offerings.
• Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
• Assist guests with special requests and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Handle guest concerns courteously and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
• Maintain the highest standards of grooming, etiquette, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Hostess, Guest Service Associate, or Receptionist in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine dining establishment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Pleasant personality with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance with excellent grooming standards.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is an added advantage.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Female candidates preferred.
