Job Description

The Commis II – Samosa Maker will specialise in the preparation of samosas, including dough preparation, filling, shaping, and cooking, while maintaining consistent quality, taste, size, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samosa dough and fillings according to standard recipes
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately
• Prepare and shape samosas consistently
• Fry or cook samosas according to required standards
• Maintain consistent taste, size, texture, and presentation
• Prepare mise en place before production
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
• Monitor product quality during preparation and cooking
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and equipment
• Minimise food wastage
• Assist senior chefs with other kitchen duties when required
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

• Male candidates only
• Strong practical knowledge of samosa preparation
• Good knowledge of dough and filling preparation
• Ability to maintain consistent product quality
• Good understanding of food hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment
• Good physical stamina and teamwork skills
