Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes and a strong understanding of the kitchen operations. You will work alongside a talented group of chefs and enhance your culinary skills while contributing to a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a section of the kitchen, mentor junior staff, and suggest menu developments. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned kitchen section
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the guidelines of restaurant specifications
• Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are upheld in the kitchen
• Assist in menu planning and development, including seasonal offerings
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices
• Collaborate with the head chef to maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
• Monitor portion control and waste management for cost efficiency
• Participate in team meetings to provide input on kitchen operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
