Job Description

The Head Chef – Bakery & Pastry is responsible for leading the bakery and pastry operations, ensuring exceptional product quality, innovation, and consistency while maintaining food safety, cost control, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all bakery and pastry production including breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and specialty items.

  • Develop and innovate menus, recipes, and seasonal offerings in line with brand standards and market trends.

  • Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all bakery and pastry products.

  • Manage daily operations, production planning, and workflow of the bakery and pastry kitchen.

  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP).

  • Control food costs, wastage, portioning, and inventory.

  • Manage ordering, storage, and stock rotation of raw materials.
