Job Description

The POS Application Specialist is responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and maintenance of Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support POS applications and related hardware.

• Troubleshoot POS system issues and provide timely technical support to end users.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams for POS upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

• Monitor POS system performance and ensure system uptime and reliability.

• Train staff on POS usage, features, and best practices.

• Manage POS data, including menu setup, pricing, discounts, and user access.

• Ensure POS systems comply with company policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

• Prepare system documentation, reports, and user manuals.
