The Kitchen Equipment Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
Install, service, and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, dishwashers, steamers, refrigerators, and freezers.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas, electrical, and mechanical kitchen equipment.
Diagnose equipment faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and operational guidelines.
Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance logs and service reports.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
Liaise with external vendors and suppliers for specialized repairs and spare parts.
Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and HACCP standards.
