Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across various projects in the UAE. The role requires expertise in wiring, troubleshooting, and electrical equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 Installation & Wiring:

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, and panels as per project specifications

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

• Connect and terminate cables, switches, circuit breakers, and transformers

• Install lighting systems, power outlets, and control panels in buildings

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, distribution panels, and motor controls

• Conduct inspections of electrical circuits and connections to ensure proper functioning

• Test and calibrate electrical instruments and control systems

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to avoid malfunctions

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow DEWA, ADDC, and UAE electrical regulations

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including grounding and insulation protocols

• Conduct electrical load calculations to prevent overload issues

• Use appropriate PPE and tools to maintain a safe working environment

 Emergency Repairs & Upgrades:

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergency repairs

• Upgrade existing electrical systems for efficiency and sustainability

• Work on backup power systems, generators, and UPS units

 Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and control systems
Ability to handle tools, testing equipment, and electrical instruments
Familiarity with high-rise buildings, commercial setups, and MEP projects
Physical fitness to work in high-rise buildings and confined spaces
