Job Title: Chilled Water Pipe Fitter

Location: UAE
Industry: High-rise buildings, Residential & Commercial projects, Shopping Mall Fit-outs, Retrofit Projects
Sector: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

 Key Responsibilities:

 Installation & Fabrication:

• Read and interpret HVAC piping shop drawings and schematics

• Install district cooling heat exchanger room and pump room piping as per project requirements

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, weld, and assemble MS & Cu pipes

• Install valves, strainers, expansion tanks, pumps, and fittings according to design

• Ensure proper pipe insulation and cladding to prevent condensation & heat loss

• Align and install pipe supports, anchors, and vibration isolators per SMACNA standards

• Install FCUs, AHUs, and FAHUs

Testing & Commissioning:

• Conduct hydrostatic and pressure testing to check for leaks before commissioning

• Assist in flushing, chemical treatment, and balancing of chilled water networks

• Collaborate with the commissioning team to ensure proper flow rates

 Maintenance & Repairs:

• Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and pump room piping issues

• Replace or repair damaged pipe sections, valves, and fittings within DLP (Defects Liability Period)
