- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest level of food quality and hygiene.
- Manage food prep and portion control to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or special dishes.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen inventory and ordering supplies when necessary.
- Prepare sauces, marinades, and condiments typical of various Asian cuisines (e.g., soy sauce, miso, ginger, curry paste).
- Stay current with food trends and techniques within Asian cuisine.
