Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the operation,maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned in order to maintain the physical structure and grounds of the hotel property. He is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned. They are also responsible for performing in a safe and efficient manner.The Maintenance Technician is expected to actively develop excellent service skills in dealing with clients, guests and co-workers.

Mechanical Systems:

• Install and maintain HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues such as broken heating systems, malfunctioning cooling units, or issues with ventilation systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of pumps, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.

Electrical Systems:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, circuit breakers, and panel boards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues like power outages, faulty outlets, or circuit malfunctions.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with national and local electrical codes.

Plumbing Systems:

• Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and water flow issues in plumbing systems.
• Ensure plumbing systems meet relevant building codes and standards.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all MEP systems adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Perform inspections to check the condition of systems and components.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
