Job Description

    • Menu developmentCreating new menus or modifying existing ones to meet quality standards 
       
    • Food preparationPlanning and directing food preparation, and ensuring food is prepared on time and in sufficient quantities 
       
    • Kitchen staff managementRecruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring they adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards 
       
    • Inventory managementOrdering stock, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste
    • Kitchen equipmentAssisting with equipment purchases and repairs, and ensuring equipment is maintained properly
    • Food safety and hygieneEnsuring compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Staff issuesHandling staff issues, such as sick leave and attendance, and taking disciplinary action when necessary
    • Customer serviceEnsuring that guests receive excellent service and enjoy their culinary experience
    • Business performanceMonitoring the business performance of the restaurant
