Job Description

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes and guidelines.

  • Assist senior chefs (DCDP/CDP) in daily kitchen operations.

  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency in presentation.

  • Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen.

  • Organize ingredients, mise en place, and storage areas efficiently.

  • Handle kitchen equipment properly and report any maintenance issues.

  • Minimize wastage and practice cost control in food production.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure timely service during busy operations.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to smooth workflow.

  • Support training and mentoring of junior commis staff when required.
