The South Indian Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. This role requires expertise in traditional cooking techniques and a deep understanding of regional flavors.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, and chutneys, according to traditional recipes and standards.

  • Ensure the use of fresh ingredients and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

  • Utilize traditional cooking methods, such as fermentation for dosa batter and slow-cooking techniques for curries.

  • Collaborate with senior chefs to design and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and regional specialties.
