Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest floors, ensuring that all rooms, corridors, and public areas meet the hotel's standards of excellence. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, managing guest requests, and coordinating with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Supervise and support housekeeping team members, including room attendants and floor boys.

• Conduct daily briefings and allocate tasks to staff.

• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service.

• Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.

• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards.

• Address any deficiencies promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Ensure guest privacy is respected, especially when "Do Not Disturb" status is displayed.

• Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities, and communicate them to the relevant team members.

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction.

• Handle lost and found procedures in accordance with hotel policies.
