Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Your responsibilities include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

• Wash Dishes: Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand.

• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counters, and taking out trash.

• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain the dishwasher machine and other cleaning equipment. Report any malfunctions or issues to the kitchen manager.

• Assist in Food Prep: Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing salads when needed.

• Ingredient Handling: Help with washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients to assist chefs during meal preparation.
