As a Waiter or Assistant Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a restaurant setting. Your role involves greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will work closely with kitchen and bar staff to deliver timely and accurate service.
Greet Guests: Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present Menus: Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials and promotions.
Take Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders using a POS system or order pad.
Serve Food & Beverages: Deliver orders to tables promptly and professionally.
Monitor Satisfaction: Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Clear Tables: Remove used dishes and utensils, and prepare tables for the next guests.
Set Tables: Arrange table settings with appropriate linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure dining area is clean and organized, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
Restock Supplies: Replenish items such as napkins, straws, and condiments as needed.
