Job Title: Upholstery Worker

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled Upholstery Workers to join our team. The role involves cutting, sewing, assembling, repairing, and refurbishing upholstered furniture, car seats, and decorative fabric installations. Candidates with experience in furniture, automotive, or hotel upholstery will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Upholstery Fabrication & Installation:

• Measure, cut, and sew fabric, leather, or synthetic materials for upholstery

• Install, stretch, and staple fabric and padding onto frames for furniture, vehicle seats, and wall panels

• Use sewing machines, hand tools, and staple guns to complete projects

• Apply foam padding, springs, and webbing for cushioning and durability

Repair & Refurbishment:

• Assess and repair damaged upholstery, torn fabrics, and worn-out padding

• Replace springs, foam, or fabric in furniture, office chairs, car interiors, and hotel décor

• Restore antique or luxury furniture with custom stitching and detailing

Design & Customization:

• Create custom designs, patterns, and embroidery as per client requests

• Work with interior designers and automotive specialists to achieve desired aesthetics

• Match fabric textures, colors, and patterns for a seamless finish

Tools & Material Handling:

• Operate cutting tools, sewing machines, industrial staplers, and adhesive sprayers

• Maintain an inventory of upholstery supplies, fabrics, foams, and adhesives

• Ensure all work is completed with high precision and attention to detail

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow workplace safety guidelines when using sharp tools and industrial machines

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Ensure durability and quality in all upholstery work

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in furniture, automotive, or interior upholsterySkilled in cutting, stitching, and assembling upholstery materials
Experience with fabric, leather, foam, and synthetic materials
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and patterns
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
