Job Title: Elevator Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician with expertise in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators, escalators, and lift systems. Candidates with experience in KONE, OTIS, Schindler, or Thyssenkrupp brands will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Assembly:

• Install new elevator systems, escalators, and moving walkways according to project requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals

• Assemble hoist mechanisms, guide rails, control panels, and drive systems

• Connect and test electrical wiring, motor operations, and safety circuits

Maintenance & Servicing:

• Perform routine maintenance on elevator systems to prevent breakdowns

• Lubricate bearings, cables, and moving parts for smooth operation

• Adjust brakes, tension cables, and door mechanisms for optimal performance

• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with UAE elevator regulations

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in elevator systems

• Repair or replace faulty motors, gears, pulleys, sensors, and control systems

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore elevator function quickly

• Calibrate elevator speed, alignment, and door operations

 Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure elevators comply with UAE safety standards and local authority regulations

• Test emergency brakes, backup power systems, and overload sensors

• Use protective gear and proper safety protocols during all operations

Requirements:

 Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Elevator Technician (GCC experience preferred)
Expertise in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of KONE, OTIS, Schindler, or Thyssenkrupp systems
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less (MRL) elevator systems
Ability to use electrical testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and power tools
Physically fit to work in high-rise buildings, confined spaces, and at heights
