We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Multi-Cuisine to join our culinary team in the UK. The ideal candidate must have experience in preparing and cooking diverse cuisines, ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards. The DCDP will assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to menu development.
Prepare and cook dishes across multiple cuisines (Continental, Italian, Asian, Indian, etc.).
Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Ensure high-quality food production while minimizing waste.
Assist in menu development and contribute innovative dish ideas.
Set up and maintain workstations for efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor stock levels, ensure ingredient freshness, and assist with inventory control.
Adhere to kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and service timing.
Maintain a professional and positive work environment.
Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality standards.
Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain proper food storage and labeling.
Adhere to food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
Report any kitchen maintenance or operational issues to the management.
