The Dish Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment. They support the kitchen and restaurant operations by maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with kitchen maintenance, and ensuring an organized and clean work environment.
Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and kitchen floors
Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals
Assist in garbage disposal and waste management
Ensure all dishes are dried and stored in appropriate locations
Operate dishwashing machines and maintain their cleanliness
Assist in maintaining kitchen hygiene as per safety regulations
Report any damaged or broken kitchenware to the supervisor
Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
No formal education required, but experience in a similar role is a plus
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects
Team player with a positive attitude
