Job Title: Waiter

Reporting To: Restaurant Manager
Department: Food and Beverage

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to every guest.

• Ensure guests feel important and welcomed in the restaurant.

• Serve hot food hot and cold food cold.

• Adhere to timing standards for food and service.

• Optimize service efficiency and increase table turnover.

• Present menu, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.

• Serve guests professionally and courteously.

• Have complete knowledge of food, beverages, and retail items offered.

• Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.

• Pre-bus tables and maintain cleanliness.

• Minimize waste and control costs.

• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe.

• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly.

• Deliver food and beverages to tables as needed.

• Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.

• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Physical ability to carry out job functions.

• Responsible cash handling ability.

• Capability to manage multiple tables efficiently.

• Ability to carry food and beverages safely.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).

• At least one year of experience as a food server in a restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment.

• Any customer service-related experience is a plus.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
