Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commissioning Supervisors in different fields of (Commissioning Admin-Completions / Electrical / Instrument / Mechanical / Leak Testing / Preservation / Material / Production / Telecom / Punchlist Coordinator) for ADNOC shutdown project.The salaries are varying from 17,600 AED for ONSHORE and 19,500 AED for OFFSHORE Respectively.

The Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing commissioning activities during shutdown projects, ensuring systems are tested, verified, and commissioned according to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating multiple disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, leak testing, preservation, materials, telecom, and punch list management.

Commissioning Coordination & Supervision

  • Plan and execute commissioning activities for assigned disciplines, ensuring work is completed within schedule and quality standards.
  • Supervise and lead the commissioning team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Ensure all commissioning procedures, checklists, and documentation are properly followed and maintained.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during the commissioning phase.

Discipline-Specific Responsibilities

  • Completions: Ensure systems are completed, tested, and signed off according to project completion procedures.
  • Electrical: Supervise energization and functional testing of electrical equipment, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
  • Instrumentation: Oversee calibration, loop testing, and function checks for field instruments and control systems.
  • Mechanical: Ensure mechanical systems, piping, rotating equipment, and static equipment are tested and commissioned as per specifications.
  • Leak Testing: Manage hydro testing, pneumatic testing, and leak detection activities, ensuring system integrity.
  • Preservation: Ensure preservation procedures are followed for equipment and materials during shutdown and commissioning phases.
  • Material: Coordinate the availability and tracking of commissioning-related materials and spare parts.
  • Production: Support plant operations in integrating commissioned systems into production processes.
  • Telecom: Supervise the testing and commissioning of telecom systems, including PAGA, radio, and fiber optics.
  • Punch List Coordination: Identify, document, and close out punch list items, ensuring systems are fully ready for handover.

HSE & Compliance

  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with HSE regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring personnel adhere to site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning safety checks before system start-up.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test results, and deviations.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Commissioning Manager.
  • Ensure proper documentation for system handover, including as-built drawings and test certificates.
