Job Description

  • Menu development: Create new menus and dishes, and experiment with new ingredients 
     
  • Food safety: Ensure food is handled safely and hygienically, and that all applicable safety procedures are followed 
     
  • Quality control: Maintain high standards for the quality of food production, and ensure that ingredients are of high quality 
     
  • Cost control: Manage costs and ensure that food production is profitable 
     
  • Staff management: Train and motivate the kitchen team, and ensure that there are enough staff to meet business demands 
     
  • Inventory management: Manage kitchen inventory 
     
  • Customer service: Handle customer queries and complaints 
     
  • Kitchen organization: Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized
