Job Description
Record maintenance needs based on daily visits to the restaurants, and handle the planning, scheduling and daily distribution of tasks in order to ensure timely repair in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Keeps clear records of used items.
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
Assist in managing and coordinating all floor operations between the restaurants and maintenance work.
Monitor all security issues (intrusion and fire alarm) in order to ensure their proper functioning.
Coordinate with the repair contractor for items beyond his or the team's capability
Buy all necessary materials for maintenance works such as brushes, nails, and other
Replace team members in carrying out basic maintenance works in case of absence or as needed.
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Gastronomica restaurants and locations.
Support and work with the Maintenance Team to complete and deliver all necessary tasks and requests.
Complete all project work required across all Gastronomica restaurants and locations.
Regularly check and test all electrical equipment ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed.
Conduct daily inspections and report and rectify any issues within your area of responsibility.
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, Cement and painting repairs as necessary.
Perform maintenance tasks using the correct equipment and tools
Perform the maintenance of electrical appliances such as, air conditioning, heaters, coolers and kitchen appliances.
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
Ensure all electrical rooms are checked, clean and in operational order.
Ensure the location is clean and organized after finishing with the maintenance.
Make on-site preparations such as covering fixtures and furnishings.
Any other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
